Hi,

Got lots from all the South Coast shops - used to keep approx 20 vinyls in a recrod shop bag, in the boxes on the floor, to shop the dust - before I had proper shelves for them all.

Loved the old record shop bags, as they were actually made of really strong thick plastic, not like modern ones...

I do remember the Slammin Vinyl bags, they were cool, and Bluebird... I'm sure one of the shops had a gremlin on it?

Bad Boy records had cool bags...

One of the london shops had bags with added handles, like the ones from Our Price!

What is the name of the shop? I really can't make it out with the graffiti styling.

I came across this just now and thought of this thread:

Bonus points if you can recognize who's handwriting is on the bag (clue; not mine lol).

Wow, nice one Fizza, that is an old one from the legendary music power!

It could be Nick Power's writing?

I really thought that would go unanswered let alone guessed, lol, but that was Crossfader :) You used to go there too?

Only that they must have been ruff tunes lol, I spent a lot of time in Music Power so while I remember hearing many many records there and buying them, I can't get that specific.

Anyway, thinking of tunes from early June.. deary me… all I can say is that they would have all been brand new in the shop within the span of a few days, I was there a lot and tried to keep on top of the tunes coming out so as to miss the least amount.

I guess it is now, it just sat in the corner with a bunch of audio leads in it for years and years and I never gave it much thought tbh.
