Just played my copy and noticed a bit of a scratchy sound on the intro but i think this might be the actual press as I noticed exactly the same sound on the youtube clip.

Just wondering if anyone has a copy that doesnt have this defect ?

also where is the sample 'Can you tell me where he's gone' is from ?

I've just had a listen to my copy (which is near mint) and sounds no different to the clip. Must be something to do with the metalwork or maybe just the particular break they sampled if its from an old record or maybe some sort of phasing technique...

That's a drum machine clap. Or am i missing something?
Sounds like they accidentally left the drum machine on and it wasn't even synced

Big tune Simon, stuck this in my bag for Friday actually. Hadn't noticed that sound before.

Definitely a clap on the string sample they have used on the intro. You can hear it when the beats cut out at 24s.
