Good Compilation albums

Post by hektikal » Tue Jan 22, 2013 8:10 pm

I have to play a set somewhere and they don't have turntables..

so i have to play on MK3's..

It's for 2 hours prox and i do have mp3 files but most of m are not that great quality. Especialy the vinyl rips are in some cases weak.

Which compilations are there around so i can use a few tracks from those :)

I do have the Speed Limit ones from 1 to 7

bring it on:

The Decadance ones are decent, as Dave says many are radio edits, but if you look at the track times it's pretty easy to figure out which are full length:

think I remember the "definition of hardcore" CD being mastered off of vinyl/ sounding pretty bad... can anyone confirm?

Are you looking at original CD rips or remastered versions that have been released recently?

if it was, then that is bad patter, as the vinyl i still have was about a 1/4 volume of normal LPs, hence why i looked for a CD rip.
I did rip mine, luckily my mixer has a +6db switch, as the fader on its own up full still only peaked at -10ish
