Can you think of any tunes that get praised as being Epic...

... back in the day which, in reality, were not?

I recall having a conversation with someone about Do it Together by Sacred.
The person claimed it was the original which got played the most on the pirates.
It might just be my area (London), but the original was dropped and trashed as soon as the remix came out. All you ever heard was the damn “London Massive” remix, yet, people, to this day, will swear the original is the one most people remember.

That's just my example, and I guess this is largely personal and also area related. However, feel free to rant with your own personal examples/opinion.

N.R.G's i need your loving was big in tick tock nights down here, people would go crazy when it came on, more so than any other i can remember, and for that reason it was played for alot longer than most tunes got, and then again when the remix's came out, i didnt see the fuss myself.

Probably the most popular track ever in dance musuc but it is undoubtely a classic and when it first came out EVERYONE was calling it epic which it is,still stands the test of time, has been remixed and butchered to death over the years but the original is the best.
