I went to the BFI Southbank recently to see a screening of Legacy In The Dust, an independent film about the history of The Four Aces Club on Dalston Lane E8 - better known to us of course as Labrynth. Absolutely fascinating piece of social history and the second half (footage of Labs nights and interviews with Joe, The Prodigy, Billy Bunter etc) brought the memories flooding back - not sure if/where it's showing again but I'd highly recommend it. More here: http://www.thefouracesclub.com/

Anyone else seen this?

Happy Christmas all - Andrew

I went to see the first screening of this fantastic documentary back in July time at the V&A museum and then again in Dalston in September. A lot of footage of the Labrynth days that id never seen and it was great to see the Prodigy interviewed about it too. On top of that to find out the whole history of the Four Aces Club was fascinating and to find out that Bob Marley used to frequent there.

Hopefully it will be released on DVD in the future sometime :D

Thanks for posting. I wasn't aware a film was being made. Can't wait for it to hit the streets :)
