Really? i love that personally, its a fine piece of jack smooth production & i think the original is a bit boring, each to their own i guess
I've never liked the remix of this either - think I've mentioned it b4 & got a bad reponse from everyone

Others I don't like :

2 bad mice - hold it down (remix)
blame - feel the energy (remixes)
criminal minds - the criminal (top buzz remix)
justice & mercy - soothe my soul (remix)
xenophobia - rush in the house (although I prefer the b-side track to the original mix)

The remix 12"s of Beat Dis and The From S'Express which came out a couple of weeks after the main release were complete and utter bollocks.

It was pretty standard practice back then for dance music - main release then remixes a few weeks later. Of course everyone got pissed off with it and then the labels started putting 'there will be no remixes of this record released' stickers on stuff so people wouldn't wait for the remixes.

i always thought that was far superior to the original. takes the one interesting bit from the rather dull original, adds some extra stabs and a really good piano...hell, even the beats in the Pooch version are more interesting, which is something considering it's a happy hardcore tune!

can't think of many myself oldskool wise. although i really don't rate the Brisk remix of VIbena - Postive Energy. Takes the energy and the madness out of the original...eg the really happy melody that runs alongside the piano is the bassline in the remix. It just makes it sound like any old 95 tune, whereas the original is the best happy hardcore track of all time, and stands out. Then again that's exactly why the remix was the more popular track!
Dull original - as in Origin Unknown; Valley of the shadows ?
