Re: Your Turntables?

1200's bought in 2006 2nd hand. Did that thing where you drill out the ball bearing on the pitch slider so the "0" section is easier so slide. They look absolutely mint but inside it could deff do with a service. Left channel is stronger than the right on one of them. Not sure if anyone out in NZ se...

http://s3.postimg.org/np1erm0zn/P1040088.jpg That's quite a purposeful setup you're building up there, well capable of producing some big stuff. Once you get hooked on studio gear it's all over... a never ending money pit forms, but it's very satisfying all the same. :-) Thanks for the comment Ron,...

For me it has to be this.

Re: Best 1991 tracks?

Such an underrated year. I wonder if the fad with go back as far as 91 as 92-93-94 & 95 have seen some limelight over the past 10 years in mini revivals. Anyway too many to mention although I'm loving this today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WGftn54Nko http://www.discogs.com/QDT-The-Cool-Tip-EP/...

Re: Vibe Tribe/Global Method - Sons Of The Eclipse EP Pre-or

I haven't bought Vinyl in years and have just purchased this.

I really hope there is money left over to help with Chris terrible illness.

It's times like this that I am so grateful for being a healthy person.

Good luck guys.

Re: Feb 2015 Compo Entries

Great to hear all the tracks for this comp. Some real nice ones in here. My top 5. 1st = Track 12 - Great dark track and love the main stabs in this and the way it's played 2nd = Track 02 - Another classic 91 sound here. Not enough of this style being made 3rd = Track 14 - Straight back to 92 with t...

Re: Hardware samplers! Who still uses 'em? and why?

I would love to get my hands on a hardware sampler. S950 & Akai in general is and always will be the machine that defined the breakbeat & hip hop scene. But I always liked what was different back in the day and the breakbeat programming in basement releases always stood out as being different. They ...

Re: That Amen Break and giving something back.

Brilliant idea to help members of a group who deserve credit for what they gave to ten's of thousands of producers to create not only tracks but genres out of this one break. I personally don't use the Amen much, but my work is very breakbeat driven and its a pleasure to give something back. Thanks ...

Bless ya Ron. It must be so surreal to see it and not even of known it was happening. It would of been just common decency to of got in touch and just asked you regardless of your response. Anyway like you said with business ethics in music being like they are, it paves the way for someone who knows...

Re: Return To B2VOS EP (320mp3) FREE!

What will the costs roughly be? If split between 4 of us? I can use paypal to pay my share depending on costs, but I know Nee and I live across the pond so we could only have a limited involvement.
