Re: I used to make hardcore records in my bedroom
music can hit you at different places and different times in your life, but i doubt i'll ever be able to top the magic of first hearing the toytown ep as a 16 yr old boy totally lost in the world of raving and harcore music... thanks Mike

Re: pisstakers @ work, their thoughts on oldskool hardcore
Regarding the maturity - to be honest I think that's just a pretty odd way of looking at music. It's true that most hardcore isn't that deep. That's pretty much the point of hardcore - an energetic, obvious, straight to the point collage of lots of different musical elements jammed together. But ma...

Re: pisstakers @ work, their thoughts on oldskool hardcore

I say, yeah, that stuff (you listen to) is not bad, i know that track or song and it was good, not really into music myself tbh .... etc. and move converstaion to something non music ...

Re: What's your view on 93/94 Hardcore?
Agree, must admit I was quite gutted and cheated when I realised tunes I thought were the bollox were just reworks of other tunes a year or two before...but....couldn't the same be said for 91-92 stuff, weren't they just reworks of tunes late 80's!!!...and so on... true, but at least the producers ...

Re: What's your view on 93/94 Hardcore?
surely the golden years of hardcore were 91-92 (in the uk anyway) 94 onwards a lot of the happy tunes i was hearing seemed to follow the same formula, pretty uninspiring, a lot of dodgy reworks of other tracks or using the same samples as tunes from a year or two before crowd control, naughty naught...

Re: big name dance dj's
disagree with u about morillo being known for his production tho, he's hardly made any tunes of his own Are you sure about that? the guy has produced literary hundreds of records on his own or as part of groups...which he's normally the producer or co-producer caught me out elusive - i was talkin b...
