Re: What anthems weren't that big bitd?
Surprised to see how some of the experiences and memories of other forum members differ to mine. I've never been into the oldskool revival scene so cant pass judgement on what happened after first time around and went raving solely in the South East - london to south coast. were rocking down the hou...

Re: Favourite Belgian Tech tunes are?
Biggups for reminding me about this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLFbKgwgP6M Seriously frikkin dark! As sampled by DOPE on 'When I Was Young' Excellent track that, the intro sets the theme of darkness and the rest of the track is storming too. Another seriously dark record, and proba...

Re: Favourite Belgian Tech tunes are?
totally. also, Freaky Records (X-Es, Psychic Flush) and Stealth Records (Space Trax, Techno Grooves). i think there's quite a few big tunes that people know as Belgian that are Dutch. some mentioned in this thread already! i suspect that's partly from Belgian new beat that the sound is associated s...

Re: Favourite Belgian Tech tunes are?
Absolutely love a bit of early 90s euro techno. Particularly like the more rave/hardcore oriented tracks that dominated 1991. For some reason belgium and holland just ruled that year. Seems that holland gets a bit of a raw deal out of this. A lot of great music came out of belgium but the dutch also...

Re: Tunes you wished were anthems BITD
Luke Slater - Mauve Violin. Always wondered why this never crossed over to hardcore. I think that would be down to the fact that track isnt realy the kind of hardcore that got played by DJ's when it came out in the middle of 1993. Perhaps it may have had potential with German / Dutch gabba DJs (I w...

Re: Which of the big names from the 90's still deliver?
I think you may misunderstand me Restless, I absolutely love hardcore and have done since 1990 when it started. Seeing the culture & music evolving from acid house & developing in to hardcore by drawing influences from new beat, ragga & uk hip hop is the best thing that happened in my youth. I am in...

Re: Old House tune ID (early '92)
This site is predominantly populated by people that love early hardcore & jungle music rather than house. you may have more luck on tuneid.com which includes the ability to upload clips directly to the site and is very easy to use.

Any DJs that play new music are delivering. Oldskool hardcore belongs in the past, it finished about 20 years ago.

Re: An answer i had from Jack Smooth..
Since 1997 (gaining experience in founding and running multiple businesses) I can now see that Basement & Vinyl Distribution were extremely badly run, without any strategic business knowledge, it genuinely amazes me how they managed to wing it for as long as they did. I and a few others gave them a...

Re: ** Youtube Channel Owners Important **
From looking at the content doesn't look like it should overly affect too many YT vids. Seems, admittedly not looked at all content, to only affect a couple of camps of labels and a small pool of artists. If Hadrcorejunglist.com, aka bertie big bollox, is successful in lodging a copyright claim aga...
