Re: house crew - the theme

Now who was it that did the 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!' vocal that the House Crew sampled for 'The Theme'? I know it was from that 'Peace in the valley. Peace in the city. Peace in your soul' girly house track. Sabrina Johnson springs to mind???

Re: house crew - the theme

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVFFitfsDcE A belter of a Production House tune this. Sounded very 1992 despite coming out in 1993. The flip, 'Euphoria' does sound very junglistic though. Both extremely uplifting tracks! :D Remember accidentally recording an episode of the late nite show, BPM way ba...

Re: Unmixed CD comps

For a load of Tone Def 1993 classics I'd severely recommend this one... http://www.discogs.com/Various-Techno-Trance-Experience-The-Centuries-AscenDance/release/2178908 One of the best 'Sessions' compilations, especially for some rare Production House and Reinforced tracks anmongst other classics......

Re: My oldskool tunes, please listen

Those last two tracks are just excellent and I'm an absolute sucker for mentasms which adds to my bias!. The 'Fear' breakbeat track on your PromoDJ page is bloody great too. You have enough tunes on there to make a cracking album (or three!!!). Awesome stuff!

Re: Paranoid In The Jungle - BUY BUY BUY!! :)

Gonna sell this as a highly recommendable compilation of classical style, jungle/drum & bass. With a little bit of oldskool influence in there too. If you liked labels such as White House, Tom & Jerry and Tearin' Vinyl then this'll have something in it to pique your audio canals. Support the lads so...

Re: just bought this - top new track

Got this waiting at the Post Office depot for collection. Loving Nicky Allen's tracks at the mo so am looking forward to having some on wax. Plus the other tunes are no slackers either. Big up to all the new vinyl pushers out there!

Re: Gary Numan samples

I'm surprised to say that I can't think of any oldskool track which samples Gary Numan. Considering his heavy use of synths and his futuristic music approach, you'd think that someone will have used his sounds. Going to a completely different era, I always thought that the Reece sound on Ed Rush's '...

Re: Paranoid Recordings Vol 6 - OUT NOW!!

Absolutely storming release this! Just had the first listen today and am gonna be rinsing this on me iPod and car stereo. Some pure authentic sounding oldskool tracks on there amongst some top notch modern hardcore breaks. Nicky Allen's 'Brother & Sisters' sounds as if it came from the archives of R...
