Re: mixes.

Fantazia's website do mix CD'd from loads of different companies, BUT they are very hit & miss quality wise. Slipping, A-sides and B-sides the wrong way round and getting the wrong mix too. You'd honestly be better downloading the mixes and burning your own CD. I don't know any other companies doing...

Re: DJ Excel - Just When You Thought It Was Safe Remix Comp

Cannot make tunes for toffee, but will be looking very forward to hearing the remixes people come up with too. And through pure selfishness, being able to grabbing a copy for myself. :D I had a look at Renoise a while back and nearly had a heart attack!!! Should maybe dig it out and see if it'll be...

Wicked tune there D.Grim. Has a great 'pirate radio' tune feel and the combination of machine gun breaks and hoovers can never to any wrong in my book. Thanks for sharing! :D

Re: Cheesy Rave tunes you secretly liked

I own a few 'classics' which would be classed as stilton, but I still love. I know 'Sweet Harmony' is one of those that are classed as either a classic or overplayed garbage track, but it's one I still love immensely today. Though I know it's not specifically classed as being 'cheesy' in itself, jus...

The A-Side of this is a real stinker in my opinion. No excuse using this much of a naff X-mas tune. Also can't stand that Cola Boy '7 Ways To Love' tune. Utter pish!

Re: Rave Remixes - Free to Download

Bunged my tuppenceworth on Soundcloud NorthBay. Bloody good reworkings to both tracks. Loving those rave stabs midway through 'Radio Babylon'. Was certainly not expecting those to appear going by the techno feel of the beginning. Top stuff! :D

This guy is an absolute legend. Always wondered who 'A Porky Prime Cut' referred to. Have Pete's stamp on many a piece of vinyl. Seems like a real sound bloke too.

Re: Records you paid WAY too much for

My most extravagant purchase was for this at £40 from the Camden Music & Video Exchange about 4 years ago... http://www.discogs.com/Jungle-Buddha-Jungle-Buddha-EP/release/282072 Though I have to say that it was absolutely well worth it, despite 'The Tardis (Rmx)' and 'Living In The Lie' being okay t...

Two ruff tracks here. Love the sound you created 3 mins in on 'I Want Hardcore'. That jarring vibration noise sounded as if it belonged to some obscure old white label from back in the day. Top stuff!:D

Re: Probably a yes but have you ever killed 1 of your record

I've scratched a few records by either dropping them down the back of a radiator - Pure Science & Nut Nut's 'Space Oddity' and 'We Can Make It' was the first casualty this way. I buggered up DJ Hype's 'Dawn Of The Fever' from the 'Roll The Beats EP' by dropping the record on the spindle. But my most...

Re: 105 tracks in under 49 minutes

I had a listen to this a month or two ago and thought it was pretty ace. Bear in mind it's less of a mix and more of a cut & paste, clip selection of the best bits of those tunes featured. Almost like a sample-fest of stabs, piano sections and hoover riffs. If ya don't think of it as being a straigh...

I know I'm late on this one, but I just bunged up some comments for these tracks. Cheers very much for making the EP available for D/L. Some quality choonage on this! Am loving 'Vision Of Sound' and 'Tribal Dance'.

Re: house crew - the theme

Now who was it that did the 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!' vocal that the House Crew sampled for 'The Theme'? I know it was from that 'Peace in the valley. Peace in the city. Peace in your soul' girly house track. Sabrina Johnson springs to mind??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwsOiu5PxIY Not bad for ...
