Re: Interface - Toytown & Mashed - Spectre WTF?

The track on Moving Shadow was the original. I did a remix, they didn't want to release it but Rising High did. Rob Playford wasn't a member of Mashed, he put 'produced by Rob Playford' on every early Moving Shadow release which is why he gets credited on Discogs. One of the best EP's of its era, l...

Interface - Toytown & Mashed - Spectre WTF?

All the years i've been hearing Toytown EP i think i've also mistaken it for Mashed - Spectre on Moving Shadow which i'm ashamed to say i've never heard of before until someone did a Moving Shadow that i d.loaded and Mashed was on it. Re: 1992 mix

May i ask why you have split the mix up? and used this upload site?

edit: ni've just seen your other post that this is the first time you've upped a mix.

Use a 320 mp3 of the mix (full file) and upload to mediafire or sendspace.. job done :)

Re: Bill Vega & New Decade - Head Rush (Oldskool business!!)

I sorta know what you mean Hardcore Hulk as to why old skool lovers might like NSB's but to be honest IMO it's like Comparing Barcelona FC to Luton Town FC. I see NSB's as a nice alternative genre to listen to now and again but I don't think it is similar to old skool hardcore, it doesn't have that...

Re: Bill Vega & New Decade - Head Rush (Oldskool business!!)

I can't get my nut round why a lot of people who love oldskool don't like nuskool breaks. Aren't they totally different styles? To my ears nuskool breaks just sounds like nuskool drum'n'bass slowed down. :| For me it's passable as background music, there's rarely anything that really grabs you or s...

Re: Bill Vega & New Decade - Head Rush (Oldskool business!!)

Re: Bill Vega & New Decade - Head Rush (Oldskool business!!)

sounds quite good, why do so many people make hardcore breaks so slowwwwwww nowadays though? I don't get it! pitch it up my selecta! This is fast to us! nuskool breaks is all about the funk/groove in the beat so the tempo is usualy around 135. This is 140 bpm so will fit in both genres Yeah I see w...
