Re: Die Antwoord

This band seemed ok to begin with but l quickly realised they were commercialised and chavvy and formulaic and made by some big group of studio guys with those 2 ppl in the band posing as the artists. Slimelight shameless degeneration, with big bucks slick studio production behind it. Probably spons...

Re: UK to ban everything - Response from David Nutt

Some of those legal highs are well nasty. I'm kinda glad.

By the way, l recommend getting the album at http://www.discogs.com/Le-Myst%C3%A8re- ... se/1162161

It's got some other good songs on it. Young Vena was probably the best on the album though.

Re: Vocals used in SONZ OF LOOP DA LOOP ERA - FAR OUT

Re: Mrs Woods - "Joanna" mix - or something?

Hi bloke, Cool track but sadly no that's not the one. It literally was Joanna by Mrs Woods, with what was very much like the descending piano riff repeated throughout "Sequelles" by MC Solaar. I'm beginning to think it was just a mashup made by John "00" Fleming, who by the way is / was a great DJ. ...

Re: Vocals used in SONZ OF LOOP DA LOOP ERA - FAR OUT

Hi, I heard the female choir ("tribal singing" as you put it) before l even heard "Far Out" by SOALDLE, as l am into allsorts of music and used to borrow tapes from public libraries. If l remember rightly, the chanting is: "Young Vena" from: http://www.discogs.com/Le-Myst%C3%A8re-Des-Voix-Bulgares-A...
