Re: The Prodigy - The Day Is My Enemy

Indeed. This bit made me smile: In the flesh, Keith proves far less insane than his South-Park-does-Johnny-Rotten stage persona would suggest. Re: In complete darkness?

Agreed, an excellent piece of music. Nothing original in it at all though! Didn't Slipmatt have a lot to do with it? It sounds like he did anyway.

Re: How To Squander Your Potential

i think i must be the only person who really likes that ramos & supreme remix. its quite mellow for a track of that nature and i find a good deal of their other stuff overrated! You're not the only one mate :) I think it's excellent. Me too. Much better than the original - and, for that matter, the...

Re: gurning at Doncaster Warehouse

Jedi - exactly, he's having the time of his life and that's why I love the video so much. I think he is aware of it! A quick delve through the comments reveals some lovely stuff: "@bunard1 , hi , im the focus of madness, with the gun fingers, crazy days, regards nigel" And later in response to a que...

gurning at Doncaster Warehouse

I never went to the Doncaster Warehouse, but noticed this video on blogtotheoldskool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bM3xf87CbIQ Skip to 02:08 or so for the best of the gurning. This video has made my week! Everything about it is just wonderful and the bloke in question is a true rave hero in my book.

I can highly recommend it! It's only focussed on Labs for the last third but the whole thing is fascinating.

Recommend a netbook?

Hello - I'm hoping that you tech-savvy chaps can help me out here. It's my missus' birthday next week and I have been 'encouraged' to buy a netbook (laptop too bulky and iPad too expensive). Can anyone recommend a decent brand/model that won't fall apart after a year or so? I guess I could spend two...

The first rule of cycling is that the wind is NEVER with you... I hate it but it's not as bad as ice!

Re: Cycling 2011

It was explained to me thus: The human skull has evolved to protect the head, and by extension, brain from collisions with soil or grass from the height of a person, say approximately 6ft, and at a speed no greater than the speed of a running adult. Anything higher (person on a bike for example), h...

Re: Cycling 2011

OK - here's a question - cycle helmet or not? I know its the correct and sensible thing to do but have a real problem with the standard design of cycle helmets ... they just look so silly No helmet here. I just don't think that anyone should feel that they ought to wear one; it's a personal choice ...
