Best & Worst you've DJ'ed at?

Best: the main room of the legendary Q club in Birmingham way back in January 96. The night was called Bubble Club and was a techno/electronica event. I played the first set of the night from 9 till 12 (yes a whole 3hrs, you're lucky if you get a 40min set these days) so I got to watch that epic are...

Re: What anthems weren't that big bitd?

Dee Patten - Who's the Badman. I really don't remember hearing this on any hardcore mixes or pirate stations back in the day but seemed to be massive and played everywhere come revival time. I think some of the progressive house dj's picked up on the tune when it came out but that's probably because...

Re: Forgotten Prodigy tune of the day

Did they play any old stuff? Going to see them in Brighton tonight. Not really interested in anything post Jilted Generation but I'm expecting lots from the new album. They did a few of their older tunes, but nothing from the Experience album. Found a link to the set list here. http://www.setlist.f...

Re: Forgotten Prodigy tune of the day

Been a fan of The Prodigy ever since I first heard this tune (it's still my personal favourite by them), and they were great last thursday at the o2 in Birmingham, (good gig but awful venue).
This tune is just intense and driving from start to finish.

Wow thank you very much, I missed out on a few these. Also thank you for the links for the sample packs, I got myself ableton a few months ago, I have no idea what I'm doing still on it at the moment but i'm sure these will come in handy! :-)

Re: Tune of the day (Mark II)

This was a really underplayed tune by T99 in my opinion, I guess they were probably seen as a pop rave act when this tune came out so it never got plays it deserved.

Jack Frost & Bryan Gee are both still out there doing big things, especially at the moment with the release of the Planet V.I.P. album release.

Re: Grooverider kickdrums (FAO Eazyflow)

I'm sure I've got a Grooverider tape from a pandemonium pack where he starts off playing a few hard techno tunes, just moved house so I will see if I can find it as I'm sorting my stuff out.
