I have been into all things musical since as far back as I can remember, with my first interests being 80’s New Romantic music. It was whilst at school doing my G.C.S.E’s in the early 90’s that I was introduced to dance music, and in-particular the Hardcore sound.
I have been mixing since 1994 (as soon as I started work and could afford some decks!) At this time I was collecting as many Hardcore, Drum and Bass, and House records as I could and built up a healthy collection of records from these genres. I have since focussed on the hardcore side of the spectrum as money wouldn’t stretch to collecting many different styles of records and I have also been trying to find all of the ‘Old Skool’ rdcords which I missed out on when I was still at school.
So, what of the future? Well, I have recently got into the production side of things and have made a few tracks including a remix of ‘Obsession’ by Vibes & Wishdokta (I hope they don’t mind). I would also love to start DJing out more as all I’ve done so far is some friends’ parties. I’m willing to play more or less anywhere, and for free if necessary!

| Tune Selection: 6/10 different stuff/drum & based
Mixing Ability: 6/10 ok, scratching needs work
Overall Feel: 6/10 ok but not uplifting enough

| Tune Selection: 8/10 Tune Selection: Too anthemic, no originality in tune selection. Move ya body was a nice tune to start on though. Mixing Ability: 7/10 Competent, nothing to shout or complain about.
Overall Feel: 8/10 If the consistency had stayed high throughout this would have been a top finisher, but the middle of the set dragged a little - could listen to more sets by this DJ though.

Tune Selection: 9/10 Tune Selection : Very impressive to fit that many tunes on in under an hour, a very underground selection too. Very hectic and dark, which is right up my street.
Mixing Ability: 9/10 Very distinctive mixing, I'm sure i know who this is by! Clever, well planned and long mixes on the whole with very few mistakes, and mixed in quickly which I like a lot. Pretty good scratching too.
Overall Feel: 9/10 Can't say a bad word about this one, love the tune selection, the mixing is great, and its refreshing to see a DJ that emphasises more on the mixing than just the tunes, which after all is what the credit should be for, pretty much anyone can play a load of good tunes. Only thing that would have lade it perfect would be some more scratching and perhaps a bit more cutting up, but that could have jeapordised the great flow and solid mixing they have going. Although the standard of mixes is much better in general than the last competition, I had no problem choosing this as the winner.
