Saffire has been mixing for a year. He plays 90-93 style within the Old skool scene although he does have an exception for Found a cafe.  Saffire in the eyes of most that hear his mixing ability and most definitely me can not believe how natural his ability is. This bombined with his determhnation to enhance his performance make it a certainty for him to succeed as a DJ. Saffire along with Freefall are the front men of the Vigilantes trying to get in the eye of the ravers and event promoters pushing forward the boundaries of what the collective can achieve.

Tune Selection: 7/10 good with some new tracks

Mixing Ability: 6/10 ok, needs some work

Overall Feel: 6/10 selection a bit too familiar

Tune Selection: 6/10 Anthem city. Not even Ratpack would dare play this many anthems in one set I don't think! Would send the first time oldskool raver through the roof, but if you've been to a few events, you'd be off to the chillout arch/nu skool arch/any other arch but this one.

Mixing Ability:  6/10 Oooh some slightly dodgier mixing, also bringing in tunes at the wrong point. Practice needed! To be fair sounds like someone starting out, listen to the higher scoring mixes and see what they did…

Overall Feel: 6/10 Too many anthems by far - check the other tracklistings for better lists - keeping up with this many anthems would kill you!

Tune Selection:: 5/10 Far too many anthems here for my liking, and follows the far too common pattern of starting with 91 and progressing to faster 92 tunes, which has been done way too many times, mainly in compilation albums. Saying that though it is a nice happy sing-along selection, so it's not all bad.

Mixing Ability: 6/10 As I always say about slower mixes, you need to get through tunes quickly and do long mixes or some scratching to keep the listener interested, which sadly is not done here. A bit of cutting up done, but generally very basic and regular mixing, which does nothing to impress most of the time. Also playing the intirety of Such A Feeling at the beginning followed by all of bombscare without much cutting up makes it drag on a bit at first, not how i personally like to hear these sort of tunes played.

Overall Feel: 6/10 Just a bit too run-of-the-mill if you ask me, a few mixes with virtually the same track listing were done for the last competition and didn't go down very well so i was a bit surprised it was done again (Not by the same DJ I hope?!)  Nothing really wrong with it, just nothing that makes it stand out.
