I play out every Monday on the Monday Madness breakpirates show with my partner in crime the DJ Rizzla. You can catch the show over the internet on www.breakpirates.com from 9pm - we usually play till about midnight.

If that ain't enough to entice you to listen then loads of people jump on the stations IRC channel during the shows for oldskool (and sometimes not so oldsknol) chat, as well as dohng loads of tune ID's and even some tune trading.

Played out for the B2VOS event at Friction in January 2002 which I really enjoyed and would love to do some more.

A little bit more about me - 29 so lived through the oldskool years - favourite club was probably Sterns in Worthing but loved the massive venue feel of the Astoria too. Favourite DJ's definitely Ratty and Ellis Dee. Went as far a field as the West Country and Edinburgh in search of raving fun but now cuddle up with pipe and slippers all too often - lol.

Check out the Monday Madness website which should be up by the time your reading this on www.Monday-Madness.com.

Tune Selection: 8/10 good all round

Mixing Ability: 6/10 needs tidying

Overall Feel: 6/10 up and down

Total = 20

Tune Selection: 7/10 Not sure about this one, from so-so tunes at the start to classics at the end, comes across like hearing a set out when the dj realises he needs to drop some anthems to get the crowd going again!

Mixing Ability: 7/10 Competent again, some slightly different/difficult tunes to mix left it sounding a little forced.

Overall Feel: 6 Tune selection was not quite right - needed a little more thought to structure.

Total = 20

DJ Jedi

Tune Selection: 8/10 Anthem free, hectic and mainly dark as we've come to expect from DJ Moody, a few nice floaty almost chilled tunes mixed in there too which works very well and makes the mix go in several different directions throughout.

Mixing Ability: 7/10 Nice to see a bit of scratching and a radio-style intro at the beginning, although it goes on a bit too long possibly. Still something different always goes down well. Quite a few small mistakes here and there but generally good, and none of the mixes go well out. This is made up for with the cutting up and clever mixing of similar tunes though, which sounds good, especially near the beginning.

Overall Feel: 8/10 As with last time a very good tune selection, let down only by not quite perfect mixing. Top marks for trying to make it different from last time using different mixing techniques etc though, which is always difficult.

Total = 23

Overall Score = 63
